iPhone 3.1.3 jailbreak

do you have an iphone 3G or 3GS? the thing is, if you unlock using blacksn0w on 05.11.07, the dev teams jailbreak/unlock solution for 3.1.3 wont work for you, unless you unlock with ultrasn0w on the earlier baseband.

also, if you are upgraded to 3.1.3 in anyway with the current/newest baseband, there is no jailbreak. 🙁

I did not upgrade to 3.1.3 in anyway.

It was only jailbroken with blackra1n. I never unlocked it, but want to0. Not sure what baseband its on. I think its the earlier 3GS though because the jailbrake was not tethered.

Can i just do this to down grade to 3.1.2? http://www.saurik.com/id/12#howto i installed cydia dunno if i backed anything up? I did everything it asked on initial boot.

and how would i do that? The phone is suck in a non booting loop. I have tried to make it rain again. It shows that guy on the iphone but it wont reboot.

Trying to restore to 3.1.2 wont work because it tries to contact apple.

I would love a way to stay on 3.1.2 but i have no clue how.
 
What phone do you have? I hear it differs for the 3GS compared to the 3G.
 
Ok so I have successfully used pwnage tool to create custom 3.1.3 firmware, which kept the older baseband 05.11.07

Also i created a custom 3.1.2 firmware with pwnage tool, and both work and jailbrake fine.

So Im in 3.1.2 with pwnage tool, need to see if blacksn0w works now.
 
finally, unlocked 3.1.2, i like pwnagetool

unlock didnt seem to work with 3.1.3, but maybe it would if i tried again. Dunno dont care lol
