I've had awful nausea all day, and I really need to get to sleep. I have some Ipecac syrup(to induce vomiting), and I'm thinking of taking it just so I can throw up and be done with it. But I'm a little nervous about intentionally poisoning myself. Good idea or no...it's going on 14 hours that I've felt like this. Anyone used it?

Well... you could but it wouldn't help from the nausea. I reckon that you haven't eaten anything for quite some time due to the nausea and inducing vomiting will probably only relieve nausea temporarily. You won't poison yourself though.

I have lots of experience with throwing up. I just gag myself to get it overwith. I've also heard that drinking hot water with mustard in it will do the trick.

Yeah, that's another thing-I haven't eaten since early this morning so the acid is providing a nice painful burning along with the nausea. But the thought of food is sickening right now.

Well, 16 hours later breakfast made a return appearance. How can food just sit in your stomach that long? Am I plugged up somewhere? :(
