Ipaq Network Issues

I have a pocket pc (Compaq ipaq) and im having diffuculties getting it on the network through a wireless connection. Everything is installed and its recieving packets ect..but it wont go on the internet. When i try to configure the settings it keeps prompting for modem settings. Im thinking i have to maybe set the wireless nic as the primary and go from there but i cant seem to figure that out. any ideas?
