Ipaq link cable Q's...

will This Targus USB cable work on ALL Ipaq's. I have a 3635 and the battery life sucks so I'd like a link cable so I can charge at work without lugging my cradle around but Amazon makes no mention about it working with my model. Also, anyone know of a good car charger for the Ipaq 3635?!?! Thanx

If you can't make it through the day on your IPAQ's battery, then I think it's defective. See if compaq will replace it for you. There shouldn't be a need for a car charger unless you are using it constantly. Even playing mp3's for a couple hours didn't kill it for me. I was still able to use it as an organizer and make it home to sync up and recharge.

I believe it should work, since they're also selling a "starter pack" with a cable and 3765. The 3765 is basically the same hardware as what you have, with Pocket PC 2002 installed on it. The newer 3800 series have no power plug and a different serial port on the bottom, so if something is designed for those it might not work on an older model. As far as battery life goes, it is pretty lousy, especially if you're using any kind of accessory (like wireless card). Compaq replaced mine once already but it still is pretty bad.

It lasts like 3+ hrs, is that about right??? I dont use it constantly but do notice it seems to drain somewhat quickly.
