There are a few other places selling this for under $600 (buydig.com) but this looks like the cheapest. Too rich for my blood still.

Agreed. As much as it's nice to have the latest new gadget, the way the PDA market has been working, it's wiser to wait 6 months and buy it for $200 or so.

For some reason, they just don't seem like iPaq's anymore. They were so much cooler in early incarnations. I wish HP/Compaq had kept their PDA lines separate. HP's Jornada 56x series was cool in it's own right, as were the iPaqs up to the 39xx series. Now -- eh -- something just looks wrong with the HP logo on an iPaq. Probably just me who thinks so..
