iPaq 3950/3955 question

Been looking into a pocket pc lately and my brother has an ipaq 3950 with a 5gb hd, wifi card, pcmcia holder, and 36mb sd. said he'll sell it for $400 seems like an awesome deal to me but need some input from someone who knows these things. from what I've read the 3950 and 3955 are the same which is why I put both in the title.

Sorry to tell you, but there's absolutely no chance in hell that the iPAQ has a 5GB hard drive. First of all, all Pocket PC memory is solid state. Second of all, the largest CompactFlash/Secure Digital card available today is 1GB.

How does that connect to the iPAQ? Is there a CF adapter for PCMCIA?

There is a PCMCIA sleeve that connects to an iPaq that allows you to use any PCMCIA device (so long as there are drivers available).
