little problem... seems like the staples rebate will also require the original upc for the Ipaq, and so will the compaq rebate... hmmm....

Rumor said Staples policies have been changed. When you PM something, you can no longer use a coupon.

taz,

i think some people have been getting lucky and managed to pm and throw in a coupon @ the same time. don't know 'bout you, but i haven' t had much luck myself.

i've tried the hang up and call back trick, w/ the same result

Thanks for the info on the 3765 rebate. Bought one a few weeks ago with a PM but no rebate. I can now put in for the $50 rebate.

Cheers.

I edited the first post to show how to get $20 worth of stuff at no extra cost.

I already got this deal at the Staples B&M, so it is definitely possible.

did u get this in store? If so, where can I find 40 off 200 store coupon. I tried using this offer u mentioned online with live help from CSR but he refused to accept the 40 off 200 code. He said can't be used with PM. Does this acception depend on the person I got hooked too? I always was able to use 30 off 200 coupon in local store here in DC metro area but never could find 40 off 200 coupon to print it out.

Anyone knows if RadioShack price matches and if online purchases can be returned in stores?

(if you are having trouble) you might try buying it @ staples with the coupon, then go back to staples and PM.

you would think that wouldn't work... but it seems to. they go off the original price, not the price after coupon...

normally works for me.

This is definitely a B&M only deal and even then it will be almost impossible to do as described in the original post with dual PMs and dual coupons. As for Staples.com forget it. Staples.com is wise to the PM/coupon and it is almost impossible to use a coupon with a PM. Your success with your local B&M will vary depending on how well versed the local manager is in Staples new PM policies.

As an alternative, you can also do this deal at Circuit City if you received one of those 10% off (rebated instantly with a GC) cards from them in the mail. The net is the same and Circuit City is also offering the deal on Targus keyboard. with the purchase of a 3765. The Targus rebate is a manufacturer rebate so I doubt that they will accept coupons. Both the Staples and Circuit City Targus rebates go to the same address.

Can someone confirm this 2 UPC codes thing per iPAQ?... Will it work?

By the way, where do you get these 40 dollar off 200 coupons on the net?...(for use in the store?)

And What's B&M mean?....i've always wanted to know!

Amazon is offering the keyboard for free with qualifying Pocket PC 2002 PDA (3765 is one of them).
Pricematch with BB.com and MS rebate, this could be a sweet deal. Not sure if the math is right but
correct me if I'm wrong:

$399 (pricematch with BB.com)
$1 (something to get up to $40)
$0 (Free Targus keyboard)
-------
$400 total (Free shipping)
-$ 80 MS rebate (Invalid)
-$ 50 Compaq Rebate
--------
$270 total (Correction: $350 total)

OPPS: Yes, Amazon is not part of MSN rebate participant. Also, probadly need to use AMEX Blue to pricematch since Amazon won't do it

>>>And What's B&M mean?....i've always wanted to know!<<<

Around here, B&M usually means Brag & Moan, and Bitch & Moan (it's just what people around here like to do :Q ). Otherwise, it stands for Brick & Mortar (i.e.: a physical, earthbound store).
