IPAQ 2210/2215, or is there a better option?

I'm currently in the market for a handheld, and right now my first choice is the HP IPAQ 2210/2215.

Before I go and drop the money on the unit, are there any serious competitors to this unit? It seems to be getting rave reviews from various places around the net. Basically I want something that I can use as my organizer for meetings and contact information, but also something flexible so that I can play PocketSNES on the train when I have to go into Toronto for meetings.

Anyone?

yeah, the 1945 or 1930, smaller size makes a huge difference to me at least. don't quote me on this but I think the 1930/45's video benchmark scores are higher than the 2210/2215

The iPAQ 2215 is currently the BEST PocketPC on the market for the money. Nothing even comes close for $399.

Lightweight & Thin
Bluetooth
SDIO + CompactFlash
Removeable battery
Fast 400MHz X-Scale
64MB RAM
Excellent screen
Univeral Remote

**BTW, I love mine;)**

The 1935/1945 are nice but they lack a CompactFlash slot and their screens are inferior to the older 1910s and the 2215s. Also, they lack a case or cradle in the package or any nice software bundles (no Nevo for you!!). For $100 more than a 1945, you get a barely larger/heavier PDA with nice rubber side grips, dual expansion, faster performance, and a nicer screen.

So is it worth getting the 1910 over the 1935/1940? The $400 for the 2215 just seems too steep to me.

I would hold off on purchasing an iPaq until the new 4155 is widely available.

Hopefully HP will slash prices on existing models.

Prices for the 4155 are still out of my range.

I'm liking the 4155, and even get a corporate discount off the HP website...but is it justifiable over the 2215?

Heck, is the Remote Control functionality even that good? (I have 5 remotes, for crying out loud...an all-in-one would be nice, but I can't convince myself to pay an additional $100-600 on a universal one with macros and an LCD)

edit: realized I put the model numbers in backwards.
