ipad upgrade dilemma

Senior member
hello,
I have been using ipad air 2 16gb since its launch.
now the ipad has developed two issues.

screen is separating from bezel at one perticular point and so far it has stayed same over 6-8 months.i dont know or understand how it is seprating.

battery used to suddenly give up and percentage would drop from 25 % to shutdown.i was on public beta so did restore to 9.3.2 and that problem seems to have stopped from last 24 hrs.

I was wondering whether to get iPad Pro 12.9 inch 128gb with 3G or Air 2 128gb with 4g?

later 9.7 pro doesnt seems to be massive upgrade from air 2 thanks to 2gb Ram.

do suggest whats best way out.

How cash strapped are you?

Most cost effective solution is to get Apple to repair/replace the iPad Air 2. If you're feeling daring then you can also try and repair it yourself with an kit from iFixit.

I disagree with the 2GB statement regarding the iPad Pro 9.7". It's plenty of RAM, and by the time the RAM capacity starts to become an issue chances are the SOC performance will be the main performance bottleneck. Furthermore, the speakers, screen and camera of the 9.7" iPad Pro are pretty significant over the Air 2.

Also, there is no "3G only" model of the 12.9" iPad Pro.

Anyway, depends on how much money you want to spend.
