iPad travel to India

I have a question regarding power adapters, and the power pack that the iPad has.

I'm going to India for a couple of weeks this month. I've never been there before. My coworker who i'm going with said he didn't need any power adapter for his laptop because the power brick handles both voltages.

Does anyone know what, if anything, i will need for the iPad? I just have the standard wall charger plug.

Check what the standard wall charger says it should say 120-240V if it can handle all voltages. You may just need to get an adapter.

The older USB adapters that Apple sold has breakway bits so you could swap out plugs. The new ones do not, but if you check to make sure that it can handle 120-240 like Chaotic suggested, you should be golden.
