Ipad speaker amplifer

My father just purchased an Ipad as a all-in-one device to utilize as a laptop so to speak (he is not very computer literate so it is a great product for him to learn how to browse web/e-mail/read news etc..) His birthday is coming up and I figured a great present to get him would be one of those speaker amplifier things you plug into the headphone port to amplify volume through the use of like a plastic device...

So which one do you guys think works best?

Usually, I just go on Amazon and check reviews before a blind purchase. Are you suuure he wouldn't just want a bluetooth speaker?
