iPad: Scrabble or Words with Friends?

The reviews of scrabble make is sound terrible, but words with friends doesn't do 3-4 players.

Anybody have or played both of the current versions and can comment?

Seems like EA makes games and then doesn't update them.

Well I don't think I'd play online that much, this is more for the get together and pass and fly. Usually we have 3 people, but occasionally 4. So WWF would limit that since it's only 2 player. I'm just more concerned with the fact that the reviews for scrabble make it sound like EA has continually made it worse with each update, where as WWF seems to be polished.

For a 'get together' I would much prefer the actual box game.

If WWF has a pass-the-device mode, I've never noticed it.

I prefer official Scrabble rules and board over WWF, but nobody I know plays Scrabble. Thus, I am stuck playing lame WWF. =(

I installed the free version, I guess I don't see what's so terrible about scrabble. I would agree that WWF is a little more polished and less clicks, but scrabble does let you do 4 players, so if you want more than 2 players then you don't really have any other choices.
