Don't know if you care or not but I bought my 128gb from Walmart and a two year protection plan was only 50 bucks. It covers anything and everything.

since it sounds like you need a data plan it might not make sense for you.

Interesting, does it include theft protection?

I don't have the pen nor do graphic work on it, but I just upgraded my iPad 3 to an iPad Pro 9.7 and couldn't be happier. This thing is so frickin fast.
