Apple continues to be the top computer company when it comes to customer satisfaction according to a survey by The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI). Apple gained two points to score an 86%, its highest score ever according to ACSI. This is Apple’s seventh straight year at the top of the pack with a nine point lead of over its closest competitor.
David VanAmburg, ACSI’s managing director, told CNBC in an interview that Apple’s score was helped by the iPad’s high customer satisfaction score. CNBC’s, Jon Fortt reports that “the iPad, even at this early stage, pulled up Apple’s overall numbers – which makes it the highest-scoring product Apple has, and therefore the highest-scoring product ACSI has ever tracked.”
Apple has been a top pick in many customer satisfaction surveys and continues to draw in new customers with great products like the iPhone and iPad. Apple’s retail experience and Genius Bar have been credited as two of the key differentiators, compared to other consumer electronics companies, when it comes to customer satisfaction.

A 9% over #2 is impressive, especially when 3% is the biggest jump between the rest. People of course will chalk it up to "Apple owners are stupid idiots!" But Apple's still at the top. Regardless of how and why, every other company out there would kill to be able to make this claim. Apple's doing a lot of things right, hopefully next years iPod Touch will mirror this years iPhone so I can buy a new Apple device. I just CL'ed my 1st Gen Touch and am stuck with a billion apps I bought that need a new device to call home. I wonder why no other company has been able to figure out how to brainwash people into buying their products.

And one of the biggest Android apps released this month is a game called "fart for your life" I think all phones have a lot of people who buy just about any app. Now is this Situation app free? That would make a bit of difference.

/runs off to play Fart For Your Life *serious* it's a pretty fun lil game lol.

Err, no, I believe the biggest Android game release this month has been Fruit Ninja Android. Or Deadly Chambers.

I said one of, not the biggest. Fart For Your Life's selling like hot cakes, obviously it's not going to sell as many as Minisquadron or Fruit Ninja, but for a game that totally came out of nowhere it's doing extremely well.

That's ironic because from my perspective, I hate going into Apple stores. The whole thing is packed and totally chaotic, it's really hard to find someone to help you and then you get on this list and you find them helping people out of order because people reserved time online. I'll go in there just to buy a new set of earbud/earphones and spend 45 frustrating minutes just trying to pay for something that I'm holding in my hand. It's worst than Best Buy at Christmas because at least in a normal store you can see everyone in front of you in line.

From my perspective, the Apple Retail Experience is one of the absolute worst things about buying and owning an Apple product. My blood pressure goes up just thinking about it to write this post.

Apple has managed to create the retail equivalent of a trendy bar, not what I like either, but it works really well for them.
