The Denver Police is having a lost items/evidence auction tomorrow Aug 22. I previewed the items today and they have 11 ipads. one of the iPads is locked and needs to connect to itunes....

my question this. from what i have read on the web the only way to get it to unlock is to connect the iPad to the PC it was last sysnced with.

why does it have to be with the PC it last synced with? could i just connect it to the iStore from my pc?

on a side not the auction has 9 pairs of bose QC3 and 4 dr dre heaphones. if they go cheap im going pick me up another pair :)

oh and crap load of Ipods that look brand fricken new in the bag.

Ok

1: No offer to hook us up? That's just cold.
2: Connect it to any computer with iTunes and you will have the option to wipe and restore it. You need the original computer if you want to avoid having to wipe it.

What's an iStore?

1 Garmin Nuvi widescreen updated with 2012 maps for 35 bucks
1 Bose Qc3 headphones for 150 bucks
1 kindle 3g/wifi for 30 bucks. another nice score, looks like some dudes xmas 2011 present and full of how to be a day trader books heheheh. i dont think he used it because there is not a scratch on it.

the fucking morons bid up the iPads to 400 bucks. no thanks...
same with the iPhone's, 300 bucks and you dont even know if they work....
the ipod touches went for 250-300.... wtf thats retail.

on a side note there was a box about 2X2X2 filled with old and new blackberries. it sold for $1200 bucks......

5 boxes of sunglasses, each box about the same size of the bb box sold for 1,000 each... WTF. i looked through those boxes and saw nothing special.
