iPad as a way to share your photos??

Does anyone use an iPad to share their photos with others?

Am thinking of buying one and using it as a tool to share photos and perhaps make some money long term as a portrait photographer.

I also think it would be a good way to illustrate shot ideas to models and parents. Can show them examples of different shots so they can see what I am doing before hand.

I've heard of a number of photographers using the iPad (or tablets in general) for photo proofing. There's a few threads on POTN about it.

harder:
can user various apps that can hook up to your dslr via a usb cable to a computer, then the computer hooked up to wifi with ipad on same network
- bonus: can USE ipad as control to dslr to take pictures, then have it show up on ipad!

easier:
can get an eye-fi card and hook it up to your ipad via wifi

Tethered shooting with the iPad seems like an awesome idea. There's a number of youtube videos on the subject.

Your other ideas are great. It's super easy to load an album and flick through some ideas with the client right there.
