iPad apps to be more expensive in app store

I dont like paid apps, and can usually find a free equivalent on the web or in the market, that being said, the app prices compared to traditional software are still pretty reasonable.

If they dont sell, the prices will come down.

I think prices will drop fairly quickly, just like they did for the iphone/ipod.

It makes sense that the early movers will get to charge a slight premium until more and more apps show up.

Prices will be high initially to take advantage of the suckers who bought an iPad at launch. App developers know they have a captive audience, and you know what they say about a fool and their money...
