quick question.
i don't have an ipad but i wanted to know how this scenario would play out.

lets say i'm watching a movie on the ipad via the netflix app.
halfway thru the movie, i decide to check email.
when i return to netflix, will it resume from where i left off, or does it start all over?

Here's how it works:

you're in a video, and you want to exit the app. hit "pause" on the video before leaving the app

go do whatever you wanted to, and when you go back into the app you'll be at the videos page and it shows how much of the video you've watched. When you press play it takes you back to where you were.

this is one of the little bugs on the netflix app that need to be fixed. If the app crashes (which happens if you rotate the screen 180 degrees with teh video playing) during a video it doesn't save your spot. just make sure to hit pause first and you're all good.

Just read that it will resume across platforms too. i.e. You are watching it on your PC and pause, start watching it on your iPad and it will resume from the spot you left off on your PC.

That has always been the case, which is even better considering it's coming to all these mobile devices. I can go from my XBOX 360 to PS3 to laptop and now to iPhone.
