I have a junker ipad air that I let my kids use. They broke the screen so I replaced it with one of those $20 replacement screens from ebay. Works fine, but about 3 days later the home button came loose (basically came off the mounting bracket). I just chalked it up to crappy part, enabled the onscreen home button and called it a day. Then my kids broke the screen again... so I buy another replacement from a different seller. I can already tell the home button is going to come loose, exhibiting the same behavior as the first.
So wth is up with the home buttons that come with these replacement screens? They are obviously junk, does anyone know of a place to get a good home button? (I long ago trashed the original unfortunately, would have scavenged it if I knew about this)
