iPad 4 Trade In?

Usually I have a pretty easy time selling my old iPads, but maybe the world is saturated in iPads now, because I'm not having any luck unloading my 16GB iPad 4. I tried Craigslist and eBay and nobody was interested in it at $350 (it's flawless in like new condition with all packaging).

So I'm kinda getting tired of waiting. And if I have to lower the price to $300, then I'm thinking I might as well look at some of these store trade in deals.

Target is offering $225 for my iPad 4 (yet they are paying $200 for iPad 1s, wonderful).
Walmart offered $225 also.
Gazelle offered $230.
Apple offered $231 (just to outdo Gazelle I guess).
Best Buy offered $240.
Amazon offered $270.

Amazon looking the best by far so far. Any other possibilities?

I think the reason is because the iPad 4 was being sold at the Apple refurb store for $379 in the US. In Canada it's CAD$399.

And I saw some guy just pick one up in Canada on Kijiji for $300.

If I were you, I'd consider selling on Amazon, if you want to avoid the hassle of Kijiji/Craigslist.

This. The iPad 4 is the previous generation, so it sells for $399 brand new from a retailer, maybe $350 new-in-box secondhand, and $300 for "like new" condition.

You might as well go with Amazon or see if someone's willing to pay $300 on the for sale forum.

Didn't realize Apple was selling refurbished iPad 4s at their store. Drat.

I was surprised because I was easily able to sell my used iPad 1 and iPad 3 for $400 in the past after upgrading. Oh well.

Tough sell at $350 considering the memory configuration. I sold a 3rd Gen iPad with 64GB and ATT 4G for $325 yesterday. Best I could get on the Bay.

I know you're looking for maximum bang for your buck but have you considered gifting it to a relative or friend?

I also had a real hard time unloading my 4th Gen 64gb. Ended up getting $420 for it after being up on Kijiji for almost two weeks. It was the hardest time I've ever had selling an iPad, my 3rd gen last year sold in twenty minutes and my first gen sold the day I posted it.
I think it's a combo of market saturation and that the Air is a new design, the 2/3/4 only had specs as the difference so to the people who just want an iPad and don't know anything about them, they're all the same just newer. The Air makes the 2/3/4 seem old now just as the 2 did to the original.
