iPad 2 WiFi 32gb Black for $150? (From kid's school)

My daughter's school provides each student with an iPad 2, WiFi, 32gb, Black, for use throughout the year. They are suppose to turn the unit at the end of the year, but have the option of buying their iPad for $150.

We are interested in getting an iPad and this one is in mint condition (My daughter if very good about such things).

Does this sound like a good idea?

BTW, my biggest concern is whether iOS 7 will run in this. Anything else I should be worried about?

For $150, it's a great price.

No guarantee iOS 7 will run on it, but for $150, you shouldn't really care. iOS 6 runs fine on it. However, I'm guessing iOS 7 might just run on it actually, since it has 512 MB RAM and dual-core. I'm thinking iOS 7 won't run on the iPhone 4, but that has much lower specs.
 
At that price, you should absolutely buy it. It will almost certainly run iOS 7. Keep in mind that they are still selling the 16GB iPad 2 as the cheap model.

Great price. Worst case you turn around and sell it for the same amount (if not even more if you really try).
