iPad 2 question

Hey gang,

Prolly a dumb question,

But I'm currently vacillating between an iPad 2 Wifi only and the one that has 3G Verizon capability.

While I don't want 3G at them moment, I may want it down the line. Is it possible just to get the 3G but not sign up for VZW?

Yes. It's a month to month thing where you can use it whenever you want.

Just keep in mind that an iPad 3 is expected in a month or two and may be a unified model like the iPhone 4S. It's rumored to have LTE and a "Retina" display. It might even get Siri and a better camera.

I opted to get the wifi only one and tether it to my phone when I need internet access. It has worked out pretty well.

As mentioned you can turn it on/off whenever you want.
