Engadget says it has some growing up to do but definitely isn't a trainwreck.

Sounds like if you need a tablet now, the iPad is the choice and we'll have to wait to see if Google will customize the Android OS for tablets.

And today, Apple released iOS 4.2.1 which provides the iPad a lot of stuff people had been asking for, like multi-tasking and wireless printing.
