IP35E SATA problem

As my computer boots it displays both my drives as being SATA I. Shouldn't it be SATA II and if so how to i fix it ?

P.S. both drives are SATA II drives.

Figured out the solution myself, SATA 1 and SATA 2 slots are SATA II other two slots aren't.

That shouldn't be true, all four SATA ports are wired up to the same ICH9 controller.

If you go into the bio's and look under the options for SATA 1 - 4 you realize the slots 3 and 4 dont have SATA II options but instead IDE extender options, and after i switched over to slots one and two SATA II worked perfectly. Check it out for yourself if you have the board =)
