IP35 pro and pcie 2.0?

Does this board support 2.0 or will it, in a bios update? its fairly new so i would think so.

I don't think that is something you can add in with software but I am not sure.

PCIe lanes are stemming from the chipsets. P35 doesn't support PCIe 2.0 unfortunately. If you want to know more about PCIe 2.0, AnandTech has an excellent article on its inner-working.

PCI-E 2.0 gfx cards should be backward compatible to PCI-E 1.x slots & there isn't a card that yet needs PCI-E 2.0.
