IP35-E OS installation issue

Hey, i'm trying to install a new OS for my computer but there is an issue at the point where it says press any key to boot from disc. I tried pressing different keys and nothing happened, it just continues to load the current OS, I switched the keyboard and the same thing happens. Please give me advice on how I can fix this problem, I have an Intel Q6600, IP35-E motherboard, 4 gbs of ram, 7800 gt, etc. Thanks in advance.
