IP35-E is beyond repair and I need to select my replacement

I feel like my options are pretty poor. I feel like going to all gigabyte at this point.
Vote and/or post what you think.

My IP35-E died overnight about 3 weeks ago. I managed to get it to post once out of 25 tries and then gave up after 2 complete re-seatings and testing every other part in the computer. Abit emailed me these choices since they don't have any ip35-e motherboard left:

That's too bad, bro. The IP35-E is such a great board I'm saddened to hear yours died.

No chance they can throw an IP35-Pro your way?

So get this. No reply from them since the day before this post. Their phones DON'T even ring now. I can't sing up for their forums because I never received the confirmation email... This is not going well. I've been one month without my quad! (and I just got a xeon 3085 = E6850 in my parents build, and moved my 4850 to my parents build so I have something to at least play with while wait another month for a replacement board).

Have you been reading about Abit's problems?

Not looking too good.

Yep, I post a thread about those layoffs a while back. Things are sounding pretty bleak for abit, atm. Gotta feel for those people who might need to RMA in the future.

Yeah I have been. So are there any legal ramifications I can go after if I never see a board? I mean I really hate being out around 85$ and shipping.

If they go under, you could add your name to the long list of creditors to redeem your money from the bankruptcy court.

But in reality, you probably have 3 chances to get your money....slim, shit, and none. :frown:

I'm not a lawyer but this is my own experience on how things come down for small bankruptcy creditors.

of the options offered unless you have a 45nm CPU (& there is a beta BIOS for 45nm support) I would go with the AB9 Pro.
In many ways it's a better board than the 1 that you have.
