SSD is Kingston SSDNow V-series 40GB (with Intel G2 controller)

What are my options? I know that the ICH9 only has four SATA ports, and does NOT support AHCI. There's a Jmicron chipset onboard, used for the IDE ports. Are there Jmicron-controlled SATA ports onboard too, or just the ICH9 ports?

I just made a drive to drive copy from a maxtor 160 sata II drive to a kingston 64 gb value ssd, and it works fine. No additional drivers are necessary with xp pro. I used maxblast 5, a free download, which works with maxtor and seagate drives. Check your hardrive's website for similar software if you have a different brand. You select the ssd as a boot or secondary drive, the software preps it, reboots, and starts the file to file copying, which took about 8-10 minutes. Then you shutdown the system, disconnect the secondary drive if it's still a boot drive, and reboot with the ssd only. If your old drive is ide, just change the jumper to make it a slave drive, so you can use both. If you are using xp pro, vista, or windows 7 with all the driver and security updates installed, your kingston ssd should work fine.
