Big question - does the IP35-E support the E5200? It seems as though since Abit is leaving the mobo market, that there aren't going to be any more BIOS updates for the IP35-E. If this is indeed the case, does the newest existing BIOS support the E5200?
Can some of you that have both, test this for sure?

It shouldn't be a problem. Update your bios before upgrading to at least 17 or 18 IIRC-- adds half-multiplier support.

Yeah, I think I posted a bad FTP link somewhere in the CPU section but I upgraded to Bios 18 in the hopes of moving the the e5200 at some point. I think you can still find the bios file from abit's asian sites. If not, i'm sure there are forums out there where people still have an active link to the bios file.

Anyone have BIOS 18 that they can e-mail me? Please PM me for my e-mail address if you have it, thanks.

Edit: I found this , it has BIOS 18 for the IP35. Does this BIOS also work on the IP35-E?

Edit: Nevermind. Changing the link above to point to IP35-E by editing the URL, gives a page with the same BIOS links. So they apparently are the same.

IIRC, IP35-Pro and -E used the same BIOS files all along. :)

Ok, I have an E5200 in an IP35-E, previously flashed to BIOS 18 when I had an E2200 in it.

Seems to work ok, although it defaulted to 12x multi rather than 12.5 after clearing the CMOS.

Overclock results are in the thread in the CPU forum. Here
