IP35-E & 45nm Wolfdale

Hey,

I have a question about using a 45nm CPU on the ABIT IP35-E. Will an Xeon E3110 (basically the same thing as an E8400) work without issue on the board without any BIOS flash? I want to make sure of this because I don't have any other LGA 775 CPUs to flash the BIOS if there was any trouble.

depends what BIOS is on the board to start with ...

If you don't have the board yet, you can get the retailer to flash the bios before sending.
