when the products launched it was initially pro, then regular, then e as the economy, so i thought the regualr ip35 has some more features, no? check out abit website but they should all be good for overclocking
The only difference between any of the flavors lie in the number of SATA, USB, audio connectors, etc. The features and performance relevant to overclocking CPUs are identical.
You might want to consult SerpentRoyal's ancient (original) IP35-E thread for a vast amount of technical details on the IP35-E, comparison to IP35 Pro and 'vanilla' IP35, etc.
That thread is a little uh, long and it's difficult to search using a keyword of IP35. I browsed the first bit to find info already and didn't see anything like that.
it's basically the same mobo just with ICH9R instead of ICH9, also plus firewire & different chipset cooling.
Shares the same BIOS as the -E they are that closely related.
