Ditch OS/2. Put linux on it and use it as a router or something. As for novell, i have never configured a novell server, but i always thought that since it runs on top of NT (or whatever) that you still configured the IP through windows. Unless you want to learn novell, and you probably don't have a very recent version so I personally wouldn't bother, put win2k on it. This doesn't really answer your question, but I think you would have little use for either OS. Also remember that a server is only a server if you are connecting other comps through it to access resources. Otherwise you could put dos on them and play duke3d or something. You don't have to set them up as servers at all. I reread your posts again and sounds liek you are new to the client/server side of comps. Get win2k and setup a domain on the fast machine, then use it for NAT or ICS or whatever you like. Put linux on the other machine and learn to use that too. You might also want to include more info, like what you want to do with the machines. People would probably help you do what you WANT to do instead of offering suggestions like I just did.
