IP-35 Pro and 8GB RAM?

I don't think that you'll find too many actually running that much RAM but I have seen a few people saying that it was OK & I can't remember any saying otherwise.

So I guessed when I searched and couldn't find any posters running more than 4GB but thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks for the response.

Success or failure may depend on which bios version.
Version 16.b03 is the latest, at the moment.

Success or failure may also depend on whether or not you're overclocking the board. At all stock speeds, I'd say you have a high probability of it working just fine with RAM off the QVL (Qualified Vendor List). If overclocking with "some memory" you might run into issues.

Also, unless you're using a 64-bit operating system, you wont' see more than 3.2GB of RAM anyway. Just FYI. 😉

Yeah, probably should have mentioned I'll most likely be O/Cing an E2140 in the short term. Am feeling masochistic atm as well so will be moving up (or down depending on your perspective) to Vista 64-bit.

Thanks to all for the input.
