Iowa lost this game themselves

A tick tac penalty on the roughing the kicker.
A lame personal foul call on the spearing (helmet to helmet).
A miserable 1.5 yard bonus spotting for a first down.
The facemask call against Solomon.

They obviously don't displace the two turnovers in the first quarter, but the two crap calls in the final seconds of the first half are momentum changers and resulted in a Florida touchdown.

*sigh*

2/3 frustration in Iowa playing like crap...1/3 the refs just ruining some momentum.

I've watched two bowl games this year...Iowa and the Michigan game.

The Michigan game was officiated HORRIBLY as well. I don't know where in the hell they dig up officals from these no-name conferences, but they are completely ruining game changing performances for teams by making lame ass calls or completely missing blatent ones.

Wow. We really got our money's worth out of those refs. That was some of the worst officiating since that FSU-UF game a couple years ago.

Ya Iowa got really screwed from at least tying the game. Those refs need to get fired. Thats all there is to it
