iOS/safari can't load youtube

Anyone have a fix for an ipod touch (iOS 9.3.5) that all of a sudden can't properly load a youtube video in safari? Half of the time it loads with just the audio or video with no audio. 25% it works but can have buffering/lag spikes.

Wow, forgot about this thread. The youtube app works but I don't like it in general, a bunch of little UI problems on an iphone/ipod. As far as I can figure, youtube and safari just aren't cooperating with playing youtubes ads so things get screwed up. I'm lucky to get a video to play properly 20% of the time.
