Is there a way to prevent certain app from updating in your iphone ? i use a inrix and the newest version locks the phone up, so i save a copy of the file and reload it if i accidently update it

As of iOS6 and under, apps are manually updated. So if you don't want to update it, don't click update.

i've never had my apps update automatically, on my iphone 4, since i've been on ios4. totally skipped ios5 though.

its not updated automatically but once a while you'll get like 30 updates to do. I just dont want to hit update 29 times when I want to update everything one except 1 app.

like update all except <app>

If you have 30 updates, you can update ALL or one at a time correct ?

If you want to update 29 out of 30 apps, you'll have to individually go to each app and update it, you can't do Update All except 1 app

the only way to update only 29 out of 30 apps is to start all updates and then cancel that 1. on a sidenote I hope you can turn off auto-update in iOS7..

Automatic updates are on by default, but can be disabled.

I just hope that you can turn off the 'feature' where if you are on the phone, but get a text message, your phone keeps vibrating anyway. Against your face. In a really annoying way.

So you would be ok with it if it vibrated on your face in a less annoying way?
