I started playing it last night, at first glance you might write it off, but game is well worth a try.
It's feels like a bit of old school roots back to EQ/MUD for me. There are NPC's in town that offer some quests. You will be out fighting eventually. Monsters have a 45 min respawn time, and some have rare/common drops how EQ was. While some might only have 5-10% chance to drop a item every 45 mins.
It's exp and skill point based, when you level up you can increase Str, Stam, Dex or Int. With skill points you can increase weapon skills, magic, plus quite a few other things.
Level cap is 50, i got to lvl 15 last night. There is a ingame chat that the Dev is almost always in and will talk and answer questions, he prefers questions to be asked on the touch arcade forums though so it can help more then just the people on. You can also view the equipment and base stats of people online.
Dev is working towards adding a lot of stuff and takes feedback and advice well.
Game is free to play with no iAP right now.
