IOS buffer overflow in most version of Cisco IOS

Ever since the dude that got fired for disclosing the vulnerability, I've seen a lot of talks on the Internet, but have not been able to act on it cause our router doesn't have enough memory to support the newer versions of IOS.

For the sake of curiosity (and in case we get to upgrade our hardware), how do you read the table on that website?? What's the difference between Rebuild and Maintainance?
Say my IOS is 12.3, in the Rebuild column there's a bunch of sub-versions like 12.3(3i), and 12.3(5f). What does that mean?

That means they just recompiled it and fixed the bug.

ps - that dude is now working for Juniper.
