Just be aware that Cydia isn't supported on this jailbreak yet, pretty much rendering it useless. Saurik says he's working on getting it patched.

Mobile Substrate (and thus most tweaks) should be enabled in a patch from the http://apt.taig.com/ repo. Remember to disable the 3k addition when installing.

Since Taig hasn't enabled mobile substrate a lot of tweaks and all themes are broken. Bytafont and a few others work.

Also, if you're stuck at 20% do this

Uninstall everything related to Apple on your computer (Apple Application Support, Apple Mobile Device Support, Apple Software Update, Bonjour, iCloud, iTunes), reboot, and then install iTunes 12.0.1 from here. Select 32-bit/64-bit accordingly. If you need any help, follow this guide! Alternatively, try syncing your device to iTunes.

Really delete everything. If you're stuck at 60% do a hard reboot on the phone/ipad and if that doesn't work run Taig as admin.

The jailbreak works on 8.4b4 so maybe it'll work on 8.4. Chances are Apple patches it though.

TaiG 2.1.2 is out. It fixes the substrate issue, but requires you to re-jailbreak. An update for currently jailbroken devices will come soon-ish.

Also, OrionMaster, 1011 usually means you need the older 12.0.1 version of itunes IIRC.

Yes, this worked. Only issue now is that WhatsappWeb Enabler is not really enabling anything. It installs fine from Cydia but it doesn't show Whatsapp Web on the whatsapp app

What are you using for free tethering? AT&T blocks tethering for me and, last I recall, my paid copy of TetherMe doesn't work on modern versions of iOS.

Pay for the new copy? Latest version of TetherMe works in iOS 8.3. Haven't tried 8.4 yet.

Am hoping the FCC jumps in on the tethering BS, tells the carriers to back off.

They've been surprisingly active and pro consumer lately.

TetherMe definitely works on 8.3 and 8.4. Was using it all day today on my iPhone 5S on 8.4.

Yeah. I already bought for $3 it even though I barely got any use out of my $2 pre-iOS 7 version. I was just hoping he meant that there was a truly free method like there used to be (carrier settings file, commcenter patch, etc).

Ah I see. I thought the guys over at iTweakiOS had some stuff but it looks like they charge to do the commcenter patch and tweaks now.
