I don't use XBMC. I use FireCore's Media Player which integrates into Apple TV's interface and yes it supports DTS too, as does WD TV Live SMP.

Heh. I'm glad I wasn't a guinea pig.

BTW, once a proper jailbreak is released, is there much point in doing it for an iPhone 4 before selling it? Unbeknownst to her, my wife is getting an iPhone 5 tomorrow. (Tomorrow because we had no power until tonite, so all of our Xmas celebrations were postponed.)

That means she'll be getting rid of her carrier-locked iPhone 4. I'll put it up for sale, but I'm wondering if I should bother jailbreaking it first. It seems to me that 99% of buyers wouldn't care, as this is not an Apple TV 2 after all.

If your account is in good standing and you use AT&T, then AT&T should unlock it for you. That adds at least $30-$60 resale value to an AT&T-locked iPhone 4. It could be used with StraightTalk, T-Mobile, AT&T, or any other GSM provider.

I wouldn't sell a jailbroken iPhone to a stranger, if they screw something up, they might come back to you and complain/bs/neg on Ebay/etc. Not worth the hassle, IMHO. Instead, you can just mention that your phone is on 7.0.4 and can be jailbroken.

It is a Fido iPhone (Canada). They charge $50 for unlocking so I'm thinking it is not worth it.

Good point about issues about jail breaking and selling to a stranger. I won't bother then, but will mention it is iOS 7.0.4 and jailbreakable.
