So I was playing around with IPAD PRO 12.9 at Best Buy because it had IOS 11.xx installed on and wanted to check out the new features.
Gotta say, it's pretty cool with the new dock, split screen, drag and drop 3rd floating app, file manager (could still use some improvement on this), etc.
But one thing that struck me as disappointing and weird was that if I tried to have split screens each with Safari on Youtube playing back videos, only one would play at a time. I wasn't sure if t his was some limitation to the Safari build that comes with IPAD PRO or a deliberate limitation set by Apple for some reason. Certainly the processor being pretty much desktop class in power/performance wouldn't require imposing such a limitation.
So I was hoping if I tried split screen again each side with Youtube APP playing a video that they would play in parallel. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to download Youtube app to find out (Best Buy has started locking down their Internet on their Apple displays, banning sites like Slickdeals and what not).
Does anyone have a definitive answer?
