There are a few texting features that I dislike and one that automatically gets enabled when my phone is laying flat. Oddly I can't recreate it right now but it's ALWAYS there when I don't need it. Is there a way to disable some of the texting features?

Some odd finger painting thing automatically comes up when my phone is flat.. don't know if this is an option or a bug but i'd like to disable it, it's annoying me
 
AH, that! It's not because it's laying flat, it's because in the course of laying it flat you tripped the accelerometer and made the phone think you were rotating it landscape (I do this by mistake all the live long day, that's how I know). Next time it comes up, tap the little keyboard glyph in the bottom right corner, that'll switch you to the landscape keyboard. This appears to be a sticky choice. Not sure if it's super permanent, but it seems to persist after switching apps and conversations, so...
 
AH!! I hate it, hah! Thanks for the reply. I didn't know what was going on. Seems every-time it pops up and I go to touch it, it disappears anyways, lol... but its' soo annoying. Thanks again for the reply,
