Iometer: Which workload?

I just downloaded Iometer, and I am wondering which workload should I use to get a pciture of disk performance when doing simple multitasking like running several Browser windows, while playing music in WMP, while having a Word document open, while talking on AIM for example. Thanks

You should use the settings provided by Storage Review then you can compare your results with their DB.

Our IOMeter Configuration File 17 September 2001

We regularly receive a steady stream of requests for the custom ICF file that we created to facilitate our IOMeter tests. In the past I've manually sent out copies to everyone who's requested it... a pain.
We've decided that we'll start releasing limited benchmark files for download to registered SR readers. Our IOMeter ICF file has been placed in the Member Exclusives section, accessible through the login box found at the upper left of this screen.

If you publish results obtained from this config file, please link to our explanation of the file so that your readers understand the test.
