For those who missed out on the 12x10x32, I found that Circuit City B&M has the 12x4x32 with burnproof for $144 with a $30 MIR. Some of the stores still had the drives marked at $180 before rebate, but it will scan up @ $144. $114 for a 12x burner is still a pretty decent deal, especially if you missed out on the $99 deal. Sorry if this is a repost...i didn't see it mentioned anywhere else.

I'd say Drew that this is a very hot deal for a very sweet drive!!!
I believe these are re-badged Sanyo's. Nice find; shame it doesnt appear to be available on their website.

What's the manufacturer & model #? I can't find this rebate listed on their online store.

Sure does have burnproof!
Prior to the latest craze on the 12x10x32 clogging up the forum, this drive was all the rage.

Check out this link for lots of info.

I have one of these bad boys, it's awesome. There's also a Sanyo Firmware update to it that lets it read Subchannel Data. Checkout Sanyo's site. These do have BURN Proof.
Can I get a confirmation on this deal though? If so, I'm going to best buy tonight to pick up my difference cuz I bought this during Thanksgiving for $150.

I can't find the rebate on Iomega's website, is this a Circuit City thing?

I picked one up for a friend..it's a Circuit City rebate that prints out along with the reciept. I believe the rebate is good for purchases up to the 15th.

Hmm... I just came back from Circuit City. All I found was the 8x4x32 being sold for $179 - $30 MIR. Maybe it's local.
