I just got the ZipCD 12X CD-RW and when I tried burning something it didn't feel right. It looked to be going slower than the 12X. I don't know it's it's the overburn technology or what. I had a Sony 8X SCSI before and it seemed to work a lot faster. Has anyone had any experience with the ZipCD 12X and the VIA chipset? Any good tweaks or maybe a good config you want to share? I'm running it slave off of my DVD-ROM on the primary channel. Should I make it a master on the Secondary channel or maybe run it off of the Promise ATA100 controller? Any help would be appreciated. Here's my config:

Asus A7V
Athlon 1 Ghz
512 MB RAM
Windows 2000 Pro SP2
Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.01
Maxtor 20 GIG HD ATA66 on Promise contoller (Master)
WD 30 GIG ATA100 HD on Promise Controller (Slave)
Acer 16X DVD-ROM on Master (Primary IDE)
Iomega ZipCD 12X on Slave (Primary IDE)

Thanks in advance,
Matt
