Hi, I just bought a used Iomega ZIP drive with ZIP ZOOM scsi controller. My 2940 UW scsi card installs just fine. But when I install the ZIP ZOOM ISA card, my computer wouldn't detect it. When I add it in manually it gives ?? on IRQ and ADDRESSES. Should i fill them in manually? What do I fill them in with? The card has one jumper, and I don't even know what it does.

Has anyone gotten this card to run sucessfully with a ZIP 100 External drive? Please let me know. Thank you

David

xDeLiRiOuSx, while this doesn't assist you w/ your main issue, I have the Zoom SCI card in my XP Pro system and it works fine. This was on a fresh install and was the 3rd addition I did to my system; 1st: CPU-Memory-Video Card REBOOT 2ND: SBlive! REBOOT 3rd: Zoom SCSI card. Not sure it this helps any, but just wanted to try.

Zim Hosein, thanks for your support.

Is your Zip Zoom scsi card ISA? And did it have a jumper on it? Do you turn the jumper ON or OFF?

By the way, what does WIN XP identify the scsi card as. Thanks
