Iomega IDE zip 100 & windows xp pro problem

I've been looking around and can't seem to find help with this problem. Bascially the zip runs rather buggy with Windows XP. Some files won't copy from zip to hard drive (I get file transfer errors), sometimes it locks up, and if I leave a zip disk in when booting up XP complains that it is a fat 32 file and it recommends it be scanned. Then it starts to scan but then just sits there. This drive works GREAT in Windows 98. Anyone have any suggestions??? Thanks!

I have an external 100 zip,and it won't work on the xp os.Last time I checked
with Iomega they had updated drivers for all of their products to;
"$$ CONFORM $$" with xp BUT the 100 zip, and they seem in no rush to do so. Haven't checked recently; don't have to for I am,
unconformed Todd

Just tried the download...while there is some improvement but it's still buggy as hell. I can't seem to copy any files to or from the zip without locking up the system. And when it does work the copied file ends up corrupted. Too bad, I LOVE XP but need the zip for classes. They use Zip 100 at school, not 250. Is the 250 backwards compatible with the 100???

XP Pro recognized my Zip 100 USB at initial boot-up/install and even shows the goofy new Zip 250 style icon (As I have the old bogger boxier one).
