IOMEGA 12x10x32 COMPUSA DEAL HAS ANYONE RECEIVED??

Wondered if anyone has received their Iomega 12x10x32 CDRW from comp-usa that ordered on the 31st and Jan 1st?

They said 3-4 weeks, didn't they? I haven't heard back from them since they sent that notice out.

I called in again today to check on my online order. The guy told me they had gotten 25 in but were waiting on another 25 before they started shipping. Soundeda little odd but I am going to call again tonight or tomorrow and see what new story I get. I am seriously considering buying a plextor, TDK, or yamaha and selling the Iomega if it ever comes.

I will make a bet right now that we never see these drives. This has happened where you get put on perpetual backorder for months and they eventually say the drive is no longer available and try to sell you a replacement. Any takers?

I spoke with them today and some of us should be lucky enuf to recieve in the next 7-10 days. Didn't say that they had any yet but I didn't ask.
