Hi,
I just bought a Linksys 2 port KVM switch for a couple of my systems. I set it up and the video was all screwy. I contacted Linksys and they said that if I have a optical mouse or a wheel mouse (gawd.. everyone's got at least a wheel mouse these days), it will mess up the video. Great.. Now they tell me. I went back and looked at the sales literature and it says nothing about not being compatible with certain mice. The only thing it mentions is not being compatible with AT -> PS/2 adapters. That's old stuff, isn't it?
Anyway.. I'm considering picking up an IOGEAR KVM switch and wanted to know if anyone has tried the IOGEAR with an optical and wireless Logitech mouse or a Logitech internet keyboard with the audio controls. If you have, please let me know your results. I do know someone with a optical Logitech mouse and it works fine, but I'm wondering about the wireless optical mouse.
TIA
Sal
