IOGEAR GKM561R Wireless Multimedia Keyboard for HTPC w/ Laser Trackball and Scroll Wheel
$39.99 with free shipping
-$12 rebate exp.10/14

Newegg is $45 shipped

I own one of these, that replaced a Logitech diNovo Edge keyboard that stopped working. This is a fraction of the price and does NOT look as high end as the diNovo Edge. However, so far it has yet to die. :whiste: Works well for holding on both sides, with trackball under right thumb and buttons/scroll wheel under left thumb. Only "problem" is that the trackball has a real grainy feel, which doesn't inspire confidence. When I bought mine, there was also a rebate. Took a LONG time, but did come. Oh yeah, it is some proprietary 2.4GHz with USB dongle, not BlueTooth like the diNovo units.

I use this for my HTPC, definitely functional and the price is right. Best use is as described by Zap, sitting in a chair with a hand on either side. If you have a coffee table you'll be setting it on, the buttons and trackball are not optimally placed, and a touchpad-based keyboard would probably be better.

I agree that the ball doesn't have a great feel, but it works well enough for HTPC use. Tracking is far from precise.

I have one too for my HTPC which is about 7' away from my couch, and it works well. For Hulu and Amazon video it's pretty easy to use it in your lap with left hand on the "mouse" buttons and right hand on the trackball.
